Important: EHIC Direct is not connected to or affiliated with the Department of Health, the National Health Service, or any other official Government body.

EHIC Direct charge a service fee of £34.50 per application which includes the main applicant, spouse and up to 10 dependent children. EHIC Direct provide an audit and submission service for European Health Insurance Card applications, along with an iPhone app on which to store your EHIC details, a 5 year reminder service when your card is due for renewal and a friendly team of customer service agents to answer any queries you have in relation to your application with EHIC Direct. What is EHIC Cloud?

Ehic Cloud was launched in 2015 and enables European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) holders and family EHIC holders to access their information online. If you have a medical emergency, lose your card, are a victim of theft or you simply want a back-up, you can rest assured that your EHIC details will be safely and securely stored online for you and your family.

Is there a cost?
Ehic Cloud is a free service to all Ehic Direct customers. If you are not a Ehic Direct customer then a small annual cloud storage fee of £5.00 per family** account will apply.

How do I register?

If you are an Ehic Direct customer you can select the “EHIC Cloud" tick box when making your application online through Ehic Direct.

If you are not a customer of Ehic Direct, registration is simple. Please follow this link: http://www.ehic-cloud.co.uk/RegisterQuick.aspx to enter your details to EHIC Cloud, and make the payment of £5.00. Once you have completed your account you will be able to login and enter your own EHIC card information as well as that of your family or household members.
